COMSTOCK PROMOTED TO ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Dr. Dawn Comstock, a principal investigator at the Center for Injury Research and Policy, was promoted to Associate Professor of Pediatrics with tenure at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Comstock’s research interests include the epidemiology of sports, recreation and leisure activity-related injuries among children and adolescents and the life-long healthy benefits associated with an active childhood. Through the Mechanisms of Human Health and Disease Program, Dr. Comstock has extended scholarship by mentoring six high school students. In honor of her dedication to these students, she received an appreciation award earlier this year.
